Cement and Wood Statue Repairs

We repair cement and wood statues by cleaning, remaking missing features and painting them.

Cement Statue Repairs

Cement statue repairs often involve removing dirt and plant residue from the statue and repainting the statue. These types of statues often present with pitting, rough surfaces sometimes deep cracks at the base. This type of damage is often due to water penetrating within the seams on the inside of the statue and expanding during the freeze thaw cycle. We can repair the damage by re-fabricating missing features and adding the new piece to the existing statue with epoxy. We then blend the seams of the repair for projects that require an undetectable repair. Below is a before and after photograph of a cement statue we repaired.

Wood Statue Repairs

Wood statue repairs involve the same process of re-fabricating missing features and repainting the entire statue. In general, these statues are placed in indoor settings. Below is a before and after photograph of a linden wood statue we repaired for church in Connecticut.
