Cement and Wood Statues

Cement Statues

Cement statues are often damaged by the elements. They typically are placed in gardens where their bases are saturated with water and plant residue. Often cement statues have pitting and their sides are very rough. The pitting cannot be repaired but a cleaning and new coat of paint may extend cement statue’s life. When pitting is extensive, we will suggest a replication of the statue instead of a repair.

Wood Statues

Wood statues come in from time to time missing elements. We can rebuild missing features of a wood statue and repaint the entire statue. Another option is to replicate the wood statue in gypsum.

The examples below are cement and wood statues before and after photographs.
