Repair Plaster Statues

Our expert craftsmen repair & paint plaster statues. We repair plaster statues as small as three inches and some are as large are eight feet tall. Most plaster statues are owned by individuals, churches and religious groups.
Plaster statues damage easily and must be stored separately in their own boxes with bubble wrap. When a plaster statue touches another object, the friction creates dings, chips and cracks on the surface Sometimes damage occurs due to the age of the statue. Older plaster statues may require touch up repainting to brighten the colors that fade over time.
Most plaster statue repairs depict saints, the Blessed Mother and Sacred Heart of Jesus. Some repairs are nativity sets containing farm animals, the three kings and shepherds. The damage on these sets are usually the ears on the donkey and camel. Saint statues tend to have broken or missing pieces such as fingers, feet and hands. In these cases, we recreate the missing pieces and repaint the entire statue to blend the seams where the repair occurred.
For each potential repair project, we conduct an on site examination of each statue. A written proposal is also provided outlining the repairs needed, restoration plan and costs. We offer a phased repair plan for larger scale statues.
